I’ve swapped ATC tires a few times in the past with hand tools but without a Bead Breaker it’s just a pain. I was at Harbor Freight today and didn’t want to spend the $50 on one either.. Dummy!

Hopefully the Bike shop won’t want a fortune to do it (I’ve heard as high as $40/per swap). If so it’s back to HF.

I want to ride this thing bad and tires are mandatory. These are so bad you feel like you’re going to topple over.

I had the sawzall at the ready too. Come to think of it, that was part of the procedure. But it’s too late tonight.

Haha, better than paying $$$ for the alternatives.

Just be safe.

If a Shop can do both for under $50 I’m in, it’s worth it. Otherwise the Sawzall gets a workout.

I tried to change an ATV tire once and only once when I got a nasty puncture, it took forever and I scratched the hell out of the rim.

All future changes went to a tire shop that would do it for 20 each, even when I had very little money I found it worth every penny.
