I tend to draw attention from the Hispanic hating Trump supporters

It just keeps going.
Though I’m not really sure it’s a Trump supporter or if it’s a Trump detractor. It’s so hard to tell.

Seriously, can GM use brake lines that don’t rot out so quickly?

The ones on my old 2006 CTS were spotless, stainless lines maybe. And my 2012 Silverado lines still look good, so maybe they’ve learned. lol but my 98 Silverado had a line rot out while driving, OD gears and parking brake got me home. It would have been 4 or 5 years old at the time.
Their lines were as bad as Mazda and Ram fenders rotting out.

I have a number of ‘04 GM cars in the fleet of cars that I maintain and most of them need brake lines badly. It’s on my list... My ‘05 Yukon had one rot through and all needed replacing about 2 years ago. Only 8 years on brake lines in a 4WD truck... hello? These are made to drive in the winter... I wonder if Cadillac used stainless lines. They should all use stainless lines IMO. Safety first.
Somewhere I remember reading an article about how stainless lines were bad because they were too hard and would damage all the other fittings used in automotive... but I can’t find it now and can’t remember the details. I’ve used stainless lines in a number of places and never seen any detrimental effects.
