Thanks. That’s a pretty comprehensive photo gallery. It’s nice to see some of the microcars from the old Georgia museum.

Yeah. No idea why they had to break up that collection. It easily could have sold intact, or changed hands as it was. Whatever. Glad that there a few being displayed for others to see as well.

Bruce Weiner, the fellow who had the Microcar Museum, was a pretty capricious guy who gets bored with his stuff. That was his second collection of microcars, actually. He sold his first batch at Christie’s back in the 90’s and that was the first time microcars sold for real money, so he knew they would set records again. It is a shame somebody didn’t make an offer for the whole lot, but this way got more attention. Jeff Lane got a bunch of them, though, and a few others went to museums.

Ah, I thought he got more for some reason. They went all over the place. I know a Russian bought a group and sent them there. A few have already been resold.
