Stef Schrader is terrible at identifying waterfowl. I mean just absolutely awful. The Stig is more knowledgeable about ducks than Steffers.

But what she’s awesome at is being helpful, fun, a good friend, and a good host. Stef, I’m immensely grateful for all your help during my visit to Austin. I woudn’t have been able to see as much, do as much, or stay down there nearly as long without you. Thanks for the laughs, thanks for venturing out with me to places like TopGolf and Pinballz (not to mention all the foods), thanks for getting me in to COTA (credit to ClownShoe as well), thanks for the loans of cars and Puffalumps, thanks for being a good sport with the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (have you found all the ones I left on my last day in town? Really? Are you sure? I bet you haven’t), and for introducing me to Brianne Corn and her fantastic rallycross facility. If you’re ever up New England way I’ll be glad to return the favor.

To Stef, one of the nicest, coolest, and most ridiculous people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. May your life be filled with Porsches and Puffalumps.

I still think “puffalump” sounds like a type of shoe, like some sort of strange cross between pumps and those air-walk things with the actual pump on them.
