After the suggestions of Cherry_man1 I started looking into how to apply a vintage effect on Lightroom. Not sure if I have overdone it, so comments and criticisms are very welcome.

Reminder, 2 weeks to Goodwood breakfast club. Vee-Power Sunday. Starts around 8AM until sort of early afternoon, Park in a Field north of the circuit (drive past the main entrance and then over the roundabout)

If you want to imitate the look of old slide films, one thing to do is change the color balance of highlights vs. shadows. That is they were often balanced to favor complimentary colors. For example shadows might favor red or magenta, and high lights would favor blue or cyan. This boosts the color contrast up like you see in some old slides.

Great work. In the thumbnail on the Oppo page I thought this actually was a vintage photo, it even features people wearing hats. Hats!!!

Very nice work. Hard to take a bad picture of Cobra Daytonas, but I love the vintage look.

And there’s something pretty wrong with me because when I read the title, my first thought was of something like this:

To get your car displayed in the paddock/on the grid you need to have a car vaguely matching the theme and need to arrange yourself a place. As an average Joe like me (though I might try and get my GTI in for the last one) you park up in the field and waltz on in. Unless you have just too much money and time I’d recommend eating before or after bur not at Goodwood, queues are large and of course you know Goodwood’s food pricing.

I posted about the cobra daytona yesterday and got the same response from someone else. Coincidentally me and RMS Motorsport are both British and I guess blissfully unaware of the other Daytona Coupe.

An ‘86, an ‘88, and a ‘90. And that’s just Daytonas! I also had an ‘89 Shadow and an ‘83 Rampage (which had a turbo engine from a Shelby Charger and was likely the nicest Rampage in the world...meaning it was still junk). How I've lived to this point I have no idea.

...were they 1960s Beetles built before CELs became a thing? Hahaha.

I also had an Audi allroad, arguably a bigger problem than the turbo Dodges. At least the Audi was a really nice car between breakdowns.

Oo thats rather cool. I know there are a few UK oppos but didnt realise there were many down this way. Im based about an hour away, up in Woking. Are you local to Goodwood too?
