at Speed Raceway in Cinnaminson, NJ (hey EarlZ!)

No videos, just a few photos. Rest assured, I apexed everything. As EarlZ said when he wrote about this place, fast laps are usually about in the 17 second range. I finally broke the 18 second barrier and got a 17.58! My previous best was about 18.2

I only did two races and didn’t take any other good pics besides this one:

We have one of these in PA in reasonable distance to me. It is so much fun! It's a shame that the average person sucks at driving. It really hurts lap times.

All of my trips have been to the one by me but I want to go to the PA one just to see what it’s like.

The worst part is when you get someone really slow in front of you and they won't let you get around no matter how many passing flags are waved at them.

Yeah. I was behind the one girl who would not let me pass, so I couldn't deal with it anymore and I had to pass. I managed to pull most of it off successfully, but right when I was about to completely pass her she crashes into me. :-/ Luckly we were able to get moving without assistance from the track crew.

One of my dad’s famous experiences was getting stuck behind a father and son riding side by side who wouldn’t obey the passing flag.

Also, there was one time when I went against this really good racer who pushed me into a wall head-on at full speed. The plastic barrier shattered, and the next time I went back the entire corner where it happened had been redone.

What happened to your dad would make me so mad. I legit could not deal with that.

Ouch! Did he get penalized ? Were you okay?

Also I wish the karts had horns and or bright lights you could flash to get people out of the way

I was fine (just bit my tongue). I was able to drive right away, so the race wasn't even stopped and no one was penalized.

It was decently loud but the karts are loud enough to drown it out.

True. Speaking of the sound of the karts, they sound pretty cool. Almost F1 car like in a way. I need to go back and race again soon.

This place is great, I went once last winter and enjoyed it a lot. I definitely will be going back there this winter to keep up on my autocross skills. What is the best day of the week and time to go there to avoid the crowds? My only complaint last time was waiting to race.
