Holy shit it sucked. Fuck the stupid key and stupid door that requires a key to lock from the inside. Oh yeah, did not take my cellphone there, so couldn’t call anyone, so I had to wait for someone to get back home.

That was today, but did not make the post just after someone opened the door for me. And I was there 7 hours, from 1 PM till around 7:30 pm
It was awful because I didn’t eat anything before that. Tried to open the lock and breaking the lock, but couldn’t. Now the door is damaged. Wanted to break the lock because I live in an apartment with other 2 people. One is not coming back until Sunday and the other one loves to party and stay in other people’s houses. But luckily he arrived home today.

Sucks. I was in an old house where the door knobs were held on with set screws. The knob came off but luckily I was able to use a at key like a screwdriver. I had my cell too so I wouldn't have been stuck for long.

If you are going to be locked in any room of the house. The bathroom is the best. Imagine being stuck in the living room, no food, water or toilet should you need it. Being stuck in the kitchen, loads of food and water but no toilet. Being stuck in the bathroom you have no food, but you have water and a toilet.

Been there myself ... broke the lock at work once and had to spend some 1.5 hrs trapped in a windowless dookie bunker until the man™ arrived.

It’s just the kind found in most of continental Europe but sadly not all of it. I went to Sweden a couple of years ago with a French adaptor and discovered to my dismay that the two pin plugs and sockets used in the continent are not in fact all the same. A round French plug into a Schoko socket will not go! I had to use four adaptors nested together to get my three pin charger into a Swedish socket.
