when I was rockin the fm5 and xbone eerery body was like oh noes xbox one too spensive and everyone was al about fm4 and now you wanks are all about fm 6. and I dint got money for video games. did you guys finally get those 10k checks in the mail?

Probably because FM5 wasn’t worth leaving FM4 for. I don’t have an Xbone yet, but now that FM6 is out, I’m seriously considering spending that money now. FM5 didn’t seem worth it to me.

It’s not that we didn’t have the money, it’s just that we didn’t want to spend it on half-baked, underdeveloped game like Forza 5 when we knew 6 would come out less than 2 years later and would be much more polished and content-heavy.

For example, 5 had around 200 cars and 14 tracks; I looked through the content at launch and even with DLC it would be difficult to make multiple series out of the game, or at least some that measure up to what we did in 4. Meanwhile 6 has 450 cars (many of them that haven’t been in previous games) and 10 new tracks out of a total of 26 so not only could we make the racing series with entirely new cars but we wouldn’t be rehashing the same old circuits that’ve been around for 7 years at this point.

So TL;DR it wasn’t that we didn’t want to spend the money, we wanted to get a better value for it.

Well the Xbox one was more expensive at launch than it is now and Forza 5 didn’t live up to what 4 was. That’s all different now.
