This is a standard 200 series land cruiser. Yawn, right? I have a theory for what could instantly make it cooler.

This is a supremely cool RHD turbodiesel high roof 60 series Land Cruiser. My theory is that 50% of the cool is Turbo Graphics and high roof. So here is this (which too me longer to do that I care to admit)

I’d buy the hell outta that. What do you think?

Yeah it does. Virtually all FJ100s and 200s I see belong to members of that crowd. Subdued colors and tastefulness reign.

Fair enough. I didn’t even cut the fender openings like I would have had to for that size haha.

I’m on a “lift kick” since lifting the Commander.

That’s what the turbo designates. Enter the cleaned up twin turbo 1VD. 260 hp/480 lbs-ft (Aus. spec) with a lot more power on the table according to the Australian tuners. Its not crazy to think it could happen either, the luxury diesel SUV market is hot right now.

Exactly as it should. Drives perfect like it was never even done to it and no longer looks like a station wagon.

The only negative is that now I look at all other Commanders with a massive disdain for their lack of ground clearance.

Change “Turbo” to something like “Cruiser” and put it on yours, it’d be awesome.
