When you’re shopping for family vehicles and they send you a link to a 15 year old German station wagon on Craigslist. That’s when you know you married up.

Egads those things have gotten cheap. I remember when my mother bought one of the last ones made in 2002 and it was over $50K. This probably explains why my now-retired father said that if he ever got in an accident his 2000 E320 would probably be totaled and he’d just buy an electric car instead. It doesn’t hurt that he’s got a roof covered in solar panels.
The wagon would stay so that they’d have a vehicle for longer distances, and also because the grandkids love the third row seating.

It’s a good feeling.
I was looking for a more practical vehicle and was cross shopping a gla250 with an outback. I made a joke about just getting a viper. She said “just get it.” That's all the convincing I needed to let practicality die.

Later tonight she said we should just get a Suburban so later we can get another Miata and we’ll have something to tow it with.

Clean title? Newer than ‘00? Less than 150k? Looks like a pretty good price to me, especially if it has even just a little bit of service history. If you’re seriously interested I’d be happy to answer any questions you have. Great cars.
