Too many times to count.

I once began a nuclear reactor startup and I wasn’t even hungover yet, I was still drunk. About halfway through the startup procedure, I hit hangover. What a miserable watch that was...

Yeah and then you realize the floor is really comfortable and then you realize it's 2 in the afternoon and your whole body hurts and your eyelids are stuck together and also you're in a parking garage and also where is your left shoe

I did that with a club counter a couple months ago. 30 Minutes later gravity came back and I could go outside for a drunken smoke and met one of the girls I’m seeing now haha.

Pop a couple Advil Liqui-gels before bed next time. I can’t drink water while drunk but I force those down. That way, when you wake up, no headache and you can drink water and down food with a couple more = no hangover. I’ve only messed up a few times and gotten one.

Been there, done that. I’m 35 now and can’t do it anymore. Used to do it a lot when I was younger.

Only ever been drunk five or six times but those five or six times were real doosers. One I woke up next to a car in a car park and one I woke up in a hospital.

As you get older the want to do it again receeds as it no longer takes just a few hours to recuperate but days.

Such a beautiful car - my favorite of the three current “superduperubercars”. Wish they’d offer that wicked V8 in a somewhat more attainable package - and with a manual!

Have you had a chance to drive the new GT4? Is the purple GT3 RS you were planning on still in your future, or did the 918 take its spot in the stable?

Kinja'd!!! CAcoalminer > davesaddiction @ opposite-lock.com

Thanks. It’s definitely much more striking in person than photos. However, as far as exteriors, I would rate the P1 #1, 918 #2, and LaF #3 (I think it’s a bit strange looking). In fact, I initially was set on getting a P1, but ultimately settled on the 918 because it’s interior is so much more accommodating. If I tracked cars as much as I used to, the P1 would definitely be the winner but I’m old and spirited street drives and usability seem to have creeped to the top of my list of needs. Oh well. I can’t complain as the 918 has more than exceeded my expectations.

I wish they would use this V8 in another product as well. It really is one for the ages.

I have driven the new GT4. Terrific car but as you’ve probably heard, the gearing really does hold it back from being something truly special. In addition, after spending a bit of time with a few 991 GT3s over the last few months, I can’t help but fantasize about a GT4 RS with that motor. In my opinion, that would be a car for the ages.

As for the purple GT3 RS, those plans have been put aside. First and foremost, I didn’t want to hassle with PTS. Second and most importantly, I just really couldn’t see myself using the car as it was intended. I haven’t been to a track day in nearly 2 years now and I already have the 12c for my DD so I just didn’t see a place for it to fit into my life. The 918 purchase may have also impacted the decision a bit but not in any significant way.

On a different note, how have you been since we last talked? Are the kids enjoying the new school year?
