More accurately, my Mom got it, once it’s fixed I have a feeling she’ll ditch her Santa Fe for it. As with most of her car purchases, it was bought for nearly free from a customer who didn’t think it was worth it to repair. In the meantime she’s probably going to let me borrow this for the winter:
It’s immaculate inside and at 97k miles the 4.0 is barely broken in. The only sign it’s ever left a garage is that cancer spot over the windshield. It’s a similar story to the Disco, it needs a new front axle, owner didn’t want to pay for it, Mom bought it off them for ~$600. It will be fixed in time for winter so I can put my 528i away.
As for the Disco it’s a ‘96 with 74k miles and needs a new flywheel and starter. Sadly it does not have the 3rd row jump seats.
Can any of you LR nerds tell me what that button is? The manual is missing and I’m curious.
These two purchases bring my Mom’s fleet to:
The Disco
The GC (can’t remember the year)
2004 Santa Fe
2010 Sienna (kept in a lot on the other side of the ferry for off-island sojourns)
My old 2002 Neon (kept for my sister who gets her license in a few months)
1997 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (another customer-didn’t-want-to-fix special)
1994 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , shop vehicle
1990 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
2000-ish Ram, shop vehicle
late 90’s Volvo 960 wagon (used along with Orvis as a loaner car for the garage, seen in picture #3)
That’s a lot of cars.

I believe that’s cruise control?

The button enables the vehicle to perform a boardslide. Surprised it isn’t more worn out...

That button turns on the landing lights of the Arab prince’s private strip. Security has it there so they can turn them on at the last minute and shut them off immediately when his majesty had touched down.

If you see a CarbonShwarz E46 M3 ragtop or 83’ Corvette Orange Scrambler roaming around OB that’s my Dad, I can’t wait to move to MV

I think those two orange ones and the blue one are the only scramblers over there but I'm up for corrections

Cruise control master switch.

Discoveries didn’t have fancy suspension for a few more years and it wasn’t something the driver could control until LR3/Disco 3. That’s just the cruise control master switch.

I believe it turns on the cruise control.
