When all the information is from 2000-2012. Just the joys of discovering the Renault 807 Moteur.
Going through the extra Lotus motors I have I discovered that there was an 807-13 “Gordini” motor out of the top trim Renault 17. Good for ~105hp. Not bad for a mid 70’s 1.6l. I’m leaning towards this now (as opposed to the pie-in-the-sky rotary) but if rebuilding/reconditioning is too much I reserve the right to change my mind. (again)
Anyone want some 843 Renault motors? Or know of Renault expert in Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky/Tennesee?
