Some wants a weekend car to hit scenic roads
Some wants a weekend car to hit the racetrack
Some wants a weekend car for nostalgia
Some wants a weekend car to show off
Some wants a weekend car to spend quality time wrenching with friends
Some wants a weekend car to go off-road
And you, what is your reason to buy/own a weekend car ?

That I can have fun in a number of ways while still using it as a DD.
I don't have the budget for 2 cars :(

1.) To have fun.
2.) To have something I can wrench on/heavily modify/drive hard without having to worry about getting to work.

Well if you can locate an actual 22B STI, and you’re in the US, it will likely have to be imported from another country.
Otherwise, you can find a 2.5 RS in the US for anywhere from $1,000 roller to $10k+ depending on condition. Then you can always do an STI conversion.
