From downtown La Jolla.

It’s a Lamborghini. What’s behind you isn’t important.

What’s up with those rims?
And why am I not surprised this is in La Jolla?

Oh hey I live somewhat close, I’m located at Point Loma

Michigan plates?

Would this be OK if you put really bright LED bulbs in place of the standard bulbs so that the illumination level was the same as before?

Montana, I believe.
![]() 09/14/2015 at 00:55 |

I don’t see why not. As long as the running lamps are sufficiently bright, and the brake/turn lamps are sufficiently brighter.

Congratulations!! You got voted the “Person most likely to cause an accident” award. Enjoy your Montana plate.
(I realize this is all BS, but there are people who do this. I see them on the roads frequently).

Apparently there is some good poke there (Carlsbad). Need to drive down the street and check it out some day.
![]() 09/14/2015 at 00:58 |

Sure, but I doubt the owner went through the effort to do it.

La Jolla? I am disappoint.
![]() 09/14/2015 at 01:12 |

I’ve seen that car around town. You are correct, you can’t see them.

There are times where I like the look of tinted taillights and if I did have them on my car I would switch out the bulbs, but I’d be afraid of the judgment of people who thought I was a douchenozzle for having said taillights regardless of bulb status...

1) Great screen name
2) Usually La Jolla is pretty good with their cars. You’ll notice the plates are from Montana, where I’m honestly just surprised they have any Lamborghinis in the entire state.

Around La Jolla?
![]() 09/14/2015 at 01:26 |

Usually La Jolla is pretty decent in regards to car modifications. Anywhere else around San Diego though...
And those wheels are pretty meh.

I can verify, I've seen two lowriders in Escondido and a donked-out Regal in Mission Valley, so it could be worse.
![]() 09/14/2015 at 01:27 |

Honestly I’m right there with you. Especially on a dark colored car they can look nice. But the whole guilty by association thing always drives me away, even if they’re done well.
![]() 09/14/2015 at 01:30 |

Escondido? Sounds about right. National City area is also pretty ‘what the fuck man?’ Still better than LA!

Whoever designed those wheels should be taken out back, whipped, burned at the stake while being electrocuted in the chair and facing a firing squad at the same time
Don’t even say anything about “cruel and unusualpunishment” that car deserves better than that mistreatment.
In other words, I hate those goddamn wheels
![]() 09/14/2015 at 02:13 |

Dude what the fuck that’s so wrong
The firing squad would end it too quickly. You gotta drag it out more and make it more personal. Maybe gather all of the wheels themselves, melt them down, and very slowly pour the superheated liquid over individual body parts of the accused.

I take it the tip is OEM?

One guy I saw like this... If someone else hadn't already run into him and broken his taillight, I'd have been doing it. They were that dark.

People usually license super-expensive cars in Montana because of lax taxation laws. It’s a tax dodge for people who
actually
live in California.
![]() 09/14/2015 at 09:39 |

Sounds like they should be ticketed both for the tail lights and for dodging CA registration fees.
![]() 09/14/2015 at 09:47 |

Thanks!
Yeah usually I see a little bit more “class” than this in La Jolla.
As someone else pointed out, this is probably a California car, the owner is just avoiding California tax and emissions rules.
![]() 09/14/2015 at 11:28 |

Well, at least he didn’t fuck up the wheels so he can no longer drive his car on most roads without damaging it or his spine...

Kearney Mesa, UTC and LJ. Those blackout tail lights got my attention, so I remembered seeing it.

Lots of ricers in national city, but there are also some pretty cool old school lowriders, too. Sometimes they have shows over in Chicano Park. (I have a weakness for well executed lowriders.)

He didn’t say anything about the proper ammo for the firing squad. They just have rock salt.

lol, the melting of the wheels is a great idea.

As well you should, good sir.
