Here is an article from 0-60 Magazine about legal R34 in America. A company called Motorex made them “legal” by US standards. Unfortunately it crumbled and the gov allowed the imported cars by Motorex to be registered in the US.

There are 14 Motorex R34 GTRs in the country.

and technically motorex got shut down for importing the R34s as they had only gotten R33s certified. they got greedy and the government shut them down. they just let the motorex R34s stay here safely cause it was also the governments fault for not paying attention
