No, seriously, I’m asking. Good autocross is hard to find.

Good video but autocrossing without a helmet? Bad safety and therefore denies this from being a great video.
That said, this is Jadrice Toussaint, he’s in the same SCCA region as I am and he’s a wicked-fasted driver at nationals with two back-to-back 1st finishes in B-Stock (now B-Street) from driving the S2000 CR to the absolute limit.

It’s so strange that so few people are interested in filming autocross?! It is indeed very difficult to find good autoX footage on YouTube - mostly shaky miata gopro in-car shots of short runs

That red Vette is amazeballs.
Rather boring video though.

It’s hard to do much other than a go pro mounted somewhere. Most courses don’t have anywhere for a videographer to shoot, you wouldn’t be able to tell what’s going on because the course is flat and only defined by cones, and for safety reasons a cameraman is required to have an escort and for many regions there just aren’t enough people to support that and work the course.
I record all my autocross and put it on YouTube, and I try to change up camera locations. That's as exciting as it gets

I was thinking the same thing, “what is this no helmet madness?”

Here’s someone autoxing a goddamn Galaxie 500. The only real way to describe the car is “explosive”

“Well there’s your problem. Your car is made of Jelly!”

Makes sense! Good point re: the vantage point, I guess you’d need a personal life guard stand to film from

If you’ve done AX before, this is the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen:
If you haven’t done autocross before, the Speedway Nationals videos are insanely good, here’s the 2014 one:
