I have a set of Bose Companion 3 series ii speakers for my computer. I LOVE them to death.
quite literally...They failed on me today. Subwoofer stopped working...and everything else is plugged into that... so if it goes, the whole system is borked
I really liked these speakers....and they go for like 250+ on flea bay. the kind of money I dont have right now.
Dam it....here is to 8 years of faithful service my friend. might be time to see what else is out there. Might just buy a new one and say fuck it......

They can likely be repaired. If not something super simple like a fuse, it might be a bad cap somewhere.

You’ll have to wait through the delay, but that archive has all the manuals in there. I checked, it looks clean to me.
Page 6-7 on the Series II manual is the one you want. Page 20-22 is good stuff too, and the test procedure follows.
Final edit: don’t remove the panel sticker, just cut the shitter.
