If it does, congrats, because the specs for the actual GT may be as close as the one in-game. Take with a pinch of salt, but still.

Yeah it does but like they said take it with some salt. The figures for a lot of cars in this game are just plain wrong. For example the modern McLarens are hilariously bad to the point that the 12C is faster than the 650s and the Ferraris seem overdone too. A 458 will notnot do 217mph and 0-60 in 2.8s. I do wonder if the car makers meddle with the stats.

Turn 10 asked Ferrari for a car to benchmark for the game, Ferrari sent over one of their press cars. It then did 217 mph and 2.8s.

right! but the ferrari 458 speciale supposedly did 0-60 in 2.9.. so it’s not too out of the realm they pumped one up too much to make the 2.8 mar. they claim the base does it in 3 flat..

I’m mostly being facetious, but Ferrari is known for the cars they send to the press being very different from those that customers get. Jalopnik had a story on it a while back, which is consequently why Jalopnik does not get invited to things by Ferrari. (Wasn’t Chris Harris involved, too?)

Yeah. I don’t care if it is RFactor or Need for Speed, the manufacturer stats are hardly a secret and should be correct.
