Kinja will just eat it up anyway rendering completely pointless, so you better learn to type fast and do it all in one go or save it on Drive or something.

I used to think that, but they’ve fixed it. When you’re ready to post, scroll back up to the top of the article and find the time in blue lettering. If you click on the time, you can either hit “reset” or put in a custom time. Just hit “reset” and voila, a minty fresh article!

I use “save draft”.
It’s good for laying everything out and proofreading. Once I’m satisfied with the post, instead of hitting “publish”, I just copy everything over into a new composition and publish it from there. That way it gets time-stamped with the current time instead of burying itself behind the “more stories” button. I then go back and delete the draft.

I wasn’t aware of that feature. I’ll keep an eye out for that.
