Headphone user warning... open manifold is LOUD.
Ziptied my iphone to my grill. Not as awful as expected.
I need a GoPro.
I was running up to a clear lookout over the lake to take pics of the Aurora over the lake... got there and realized the lookout looks out towards the South/West. Oops. Good spot for sunset though maybe?

I love the zip tied iPhone to the grill idea!
Several years ago, when I got my WRX, my buddy and I made a driving vid using a cheap webcam we got at Walmart. We taped it up under the WRX hoodscoop and routed the cable under the hood and thru the passenger door weather striping to his laptop. It worked much better than expected.

I don’t know if I’d want to do it for anything much more than this. The video ends where it does because I ran out of storage, but when I finally stopped, the phone was starting to slip out, even though I had three zip ties around the skinny way and two the long way. It’s in a otter box but there’s still not much grab.
