Commercial activities today so we have a Merc, just not the upmarket car you might expect.
Meet a 609D, one of the many variations of the T2 van/flat bed truck/minibus. Made from 1967 to 1996 in Europe and still made in Argentina.

My parents drove the wheels off of a similar one back in the late 70s all around Europe.
Here you can see it off the road after my mom hit a patch of ice.
