The xbox one has a dedicated pandora app. Why can’t they pipe that into forza horizon 2 so I can listen to my music. Hell forza 1 had custom soundtracks why are they not doing this in 2015

I think the same with ps3 and spotify.. I remember on 360 you could make playlists and play them over your game. I end up listening to headphones with music while playing xbone fairly often.

Custom music is on the way back apparently but not until 2016.

The Xbox in general. There is nothing Turn 10 or in regards to Horizon 2, Playground Games can do about it.

PS4 allows you to play Spotify in the background of all games. It’s pretty neat except for the days where it wants to be a loser and not work.

I would imagine, for Horizon 2 at least, it has something to do with the fact that they have all those different radio stations and contracts/licenses with the different artists featured on said stations. So allowing you to put your own music in or something like that would probably violate those contracts/licenses and you wouldn’t be listening to the music that they paid to have in the game.

I have a PS4 I didn’t even know you could do that! Do you have to have a spotify premium account or can you use the free version?

You can use the free version. If you start the PlayStation Music (Powered by spotify) app and start playing music it’ll keep playing when you go back into your game. It stops when you go to Netflix or some other TV like service though
