Nothing wrong with this drive for basic usage. It’ll be faster than any hard drive, raid array or not. It’s like comparing a maserati ghibli to a loaded Hyundai elantra; the worst maserati is still league’s above the best elantra.

Is this going into a laptop or a desktop? On my desktops I like to get a 128/250 GB boot drive for applications I commonly use and then everything document and media and gaming and education related goes on just an old hard drive I pull out of my old computers with like 320GB.

If it’s a laptop, Walmart had 64gb microsd cards yesterday for under 20 bucks, I’d say just get one of those and keep it in the laptop for shits and gigs
