Ummm....who wants an F1 car for their collection? Because there’s one on craigslist right now.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Listed for sale is a 2011 Lotus T128 F1 “show car” meaning its Renault engine has been removed. (LS swap!!!). Listed on Nashville Craigslist, the car resides in Birmingham. My first guess was some relation to Barber Motorsports Park, or its owner and milk tycoon George Barber - I mean, who else buys an F1 car as a show piece in Birmingham? Conjecture aside (though I would rally love to know what amazing huming being has/had this in their collection), the car can be yours for the low low price of $95K, OBO.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Whether it’s a NPOCP, Tavarish urging someone to get this over several used BMWs, or the new Garage blog advising us how to drop in an LS crate motor, this is just about the most Jalop thing I’ve seen on CL in some time.

Too bad it’s a Caterham Lotus.

Uh....wow. We do have some wealthy motorsports enthusiasts and collectors around here, but the fact that it’s an actual Lotus race chassis means it’s probably somehow related to the museum (the largest Lotus car collection...in the wuhrld)

exactly. though i couldnt find any images of the car. perhaps purchased for the museum and now up for sale ahead of the museums expansion. that was my guess.

I dare you to email the owner and complain about the apparent uneven camber on the front wheels and demand and alignment.
