For just $1500, you can buy yourself !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with no engine, trans, or interior. This car is just begging for that SR20JFECNDVSLK swap you’ve always wanted to do. What do you say, Oppo? Is a blank slate S13 worth the money?

Little expensive but you probably won’t find a (relatively) clean one for much cheaper, NP to the right person.

I’ve seen clean automatics for that price but not manuals.

240 prices are so stupid. Unless you already have a crap load of 240 parts or are planning on a complete pro style build (where you need the huge aftermarket) thats gotta be CP.
Only barely looked too. Worth stating again I got my SC400 for $1500 and it ran great for 2 years as a drift/beater car until I crashed it.

In my area (Indiana) at least seems like any manual automatically (heh) gets a $1k markup just because. I don’t think I’ve seen any S13 below about 1.5K around here, might be different for you guys up north?

Its already sold but there was a clean manual complete 240 locally last week

Agreed. I got my 240 for $2000. It was running, but barely... I think I put almost $2000 back into it thus far. The “Drift Tax” on these things is ridiculous. Fun car to chuck around, but not at these prices.

crack. I have purchased 4 different s13s for less than that. 2 of them were good paint straight and complete, reliable daily drivers. 1 was an auto 1 a manual (both coupes!). I paid 300 for a driveable manual coupe that needed a big dent pulled and a repaint. I paid 1000 for my first one, a blue fastback that is the worst condition s13 I’ve ever owned. Did the Silvia front end swap on it and 180sx interior for less than 1800 total (including the cost of the car) I’ve never paid more than a grand for a running s13. I wouldn’t pay 300 for that roller unless I wanted the teardrops.

Paid $300 for this manual coupe, ran and drove, had an idle problem but was a 10 minute fix. This one needed the paint and a dent pull.
This was my first s13, the $1000 (and worst condition I’ve ever owned) that I swapped to a Silvia front end.
kinja’d
Here’s an $800 automatic, daily driver, cleanest one I’ve ever owned
I also had an s14 but that didn’t go well, worst car I’ve ever owned (besides a terrible Grand Cherokee)

Obviously they are good cars and I get supply and demand . But if you just want to slide around on the cheap, a $1500 shell is not the way to go.

CP, $500, no more....
