Why oh why are the poor V6 Camaros always the ones that are horribly modified by their owners??? Big ugly wheels, silly body kits, loud raspy exhaust (oh great, now we can HEAR that it’s not a V8 as well!), Transformers badges, and grilles off a 90’s MiniTruckin’ magazine cover?
Front shot, to verify its V6iness (no vent slot above the grille).

What’s funny to me is the V6 version of a muscle car isn’t really the slow and/or cheap version anymore (300 hp from a V6 is nothing to laugh at in my book) but people still treat them like they are by abusing them and tastelessly modding them. Lame!

I think they'd make for a nice daily as well.

That’s fine, let the V6s be abused, it means less V8 cars won’t be horribly molested with ugly chrome, neon, and absurd body kits.

Bad news: The V8s aren’t safe.

I think it’s the V6 stigma. Certain engines seem to belong in certain types of cars. I know I don’t like the V6 in the Camaro, no matter how good it is.
I4—Economy car
I4SC—Sports trim economy car, small truck
I4T—Small sports car
H4—Base Subaru
H4T—Performance trim Subaru
I6—Sports car, truck
I6T—Sports car
H6—Kewl (not even going to bother. They come in 2 flavors only, and seem at home in both)
H6T—Kewler (see above)
V6—family sedan, crossover
V6SC—Buick Park Avenue Ultra
V6T—Sports sedan, Ford
V8—Muscle car
V8SC—High end sports car
V8T and all configurations above—anything really expensive. no preference.
I know these aren't necessarily where they occur, but it's where they seem to fit, in my mind.

Obvious answer
They bought the V6 so they could customize it with stupid crap. Budgeting.

Meh I’m in the boat of they’re taking care of it. Leave them b . At least they care about their car.

Owning a V6 pony car built in the last five years is nothing to be ashamed of. They all have something like 300 hp.
Even as far back as 2000, Car and Driver called the manual, V6 Mustang the best driver’s car of the lineup because of its better weight distribution and adequate power.
So put a nice, aggressive true dual exhaust on it and let the world know you don’t need a V8.

I like how that looks. The wheels and wheel fitment are nice too. It looks like a toy.

Because owner thinks that people think that all Camaros are “fast sports cars”
