... exactly one is a manual. Furthermore, it also has a hell of dent on the DS passenger door, bad suspension, and shitty wheels. Oh, and the AC “needs a recharge.”
Just look at the wheel well rub.

“I’m sad to see this car go, but hope it will be enjoyed by its next family”
I think that in this condition, both parties will be happy to avoid it.

Cleanest manual one near me had air suspencion issues and mismatched wheels. Also looked like it hadn’t been maintained in a good while.

I mean I could consider an auto but... No, no, I just can’t.

All the Allroads in my area are trucks. Yes I know to check the ‘search titles only” box but still.

Auto just means more things to go wrong. :p

I looked at Allroads before I got the HEMIWagon. Ill repeat what I was told:
RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
If you want an Audi wagon, dont get an Allroad. If you want a wagon at all, dont get an Allroad. If you want a reliable car, dont get an Allroad.
If you want to test your banks limit to giving you loans and forgiving debt that you will never be able to pay back, buy an Allroad.
They look great, they are the mechanical embodiment of your wallet hemorrhaging money.
A Volvo V70R is less of a headache than an Allroad.
In this case, I would suggest buying American.

I would only buy an allroad if I had a million$ in the bank

Yeah I’m just window shopping. I want all the things and yet none of the things.

There’s a clean 6-speed 2004 V6T on my local CL for $3,500. The downside? 194k miles.
It happens to be the only Allroad for sale.

In all seriousness RUN, before you know it you will have put 10k into that needlessly complicated luxo-barge (air suspension, 2.7tt, Audi awd....).

“We just had over $1000 of work on it....but didn’t want to spend the other $3000 it needs.”

Precisely.

Nah, they can both go wrong, it’s just more expensive with an auto.

Hmm searching for Allroads brings up all Allroads for me. And this, which I guess is about an Allroad:

The early Tip systems were notoriously problematic. With a manual transmission, as long as it’s maintained it will last.
