only 13k? hmm.

I’d have to ride it... I have a SBK so I have no idea how something like this, or a KLR feels
this bike looks so damn sexy

agreed. its a nice departure from all of the ‘beaks’ the adventure bikes seem to have.
i dont like that its a paralell twin...i owuld have much prefered a V-twin. but close enough.

If I had to pick a sportbike, it’d probably be the Daytona. If it’s anything like the Street Triple it would be amazing.

my first bike was a GS500E... I don’t mind it.
I don’t mind 2 big thumping 500cc pots

Yeah, I don’t even ride and I want one.

I don’t know man..... $13K is a lot of scratch for a bike that’s pretty underpowered compared to it’s rivals.... the big KTM’s only cost $2K more but have over 50% more horsepower (but they weigh the same...) And reading these prices just makes me appreciate my adv moto that much more... I’ve got 90+ horsepower 900cc with a dry weight of around 380 lbs—and it cost me under $4K......

remains to be seen how the ergos fit me, but yes. yes..... very good...

Yup I feel about the same. That bike is a set of knobbys away from perfection.

OOooOOooh. I still have at least a few years before I’m ready to trade in my V-Strom, but one of these just might be in the running when the time comes. If it’s at least as good on-road as the Strom but with more off-road ability, count me in.

Very true... reliability is the one drawback for the ktm versus the honda... but if Japanese reliability was everything, we’d all be driving beige camry’s. I’m personally willing to sacrifice a bit of reliability for a healthy dose of passion.
As Jezza put it, “If you buy a honda, you end up with a honda.”

if i’m going to use that bike the way its meant to be used, i’ll take the reliability so it doesnt strand me out in the middle of butt-fuck-nowhere in a jungle thank you very much.
