Officially, or as a mod? I’m betting the latter, because GTA, but it would be nice if Rockstar finally got to using real cars in the game. Might even make me give them another try :p

Am I correct in assuming if you use that sort of mod you can’t play online?

Unfortunately street racing is probably the only illegal activity car IP holders are going to let game makers indulge in. I can’t really imagine GTA ever getting real licensed cars. I mean...step out your C7, whip out the shotty, blow away a school bus...it’s a bad look. Especially given what’s been going on here lately.

That’s true... They let Driver get away with licensed cars in San Francisco, even the criminals drive fully licensed Camaros and Town Cars and Corvettes, but you’re still a detective gone “undercover”, not a rampaging asshole. I wonder if they’d get licensed vehicles for a hypothetical HD remake of the original Driver. You’d be na undercover detective, but you’d still be robbing banks, takingh hits and ferrying prostitutes around.
I actually wish a Driver remake, or Driver 6 would happen, but chances are slim to none.

Ah, I see. A shame, real cars might actually get me to try GTA again, the parodies just fall within Uncanny Valley territory to me...
