I’ve never been a Magnus fan, he does things for all the wrong reasons in my opinion, but this whole incident just proves that he really needs to rethink his approach. After watching the Urban Outlaw video I knew it was a matter of time before he got ahead of himself and did something like this.

It just had an air of jackassery to it. Not to mention one of the other videos where he talks about how he has to hand rub the interior door handles until they look worn enough to be in one of his cars, he’s a guy that got rich selling second-hand clothes as designer clothes to people too rich for common sense. I just can’t get behind him.

After sitting shotgun in a Golf GTI back when on the Autoban, and watching the eyes and mannerisms of the driver who was transporting us at 160+km/hr, I was impressed when he hit his brake *way* before I would have thought to do so - and determined in the end that his forward looking driving was what was keeping us safe at those speeds.
“Oh look. Oncoming traffic, low pass availability, parked truck. I guess I’ll brake [a significant distance before the problem].”

That’s how I drive. Most of the time I brake before the car or cars in front of me. Just so I don’t have to be abrupt and I can warn drivers behind. The whole act of driving involves looking forward. Maybe he was taking a selfie.
