AKA my mom’s Nissan Versa. AMA.
It was also my first time driving in Florida.

Does it beat walking or just barely? My mom rented one years ago and i still have nightmares of how bland it was

Would it be better if it had a turbo?

I’d rather have walked from Orlando to Daytona Beach.

What cars have you driven that you’d regard as worse?

Given the new Versa Note or this, which one?
And if you say neither I’m assuming you’ll go with a Fit instead.

It wasn’t necessarily dull, it was just so gutless.

I was hit while driving the 4-door version in Utah! Very minor accident and the cop was making fun of the car.

I’d try the new one.
Between the two, however, the Fit wins by a landslide.

4-speed automatic transmission I’m assuming? My sister has one of those and boy are they slow. Not much character either, but certainly more interesting to drive than her previous car, a ‘96 Corolla.
One of my coworkers special-ordered an ‘09(?) with the 6-speed manual and it’s actually not bad at all. It’s got legit character; it brings to mind a puppy that’s super eager to please but not quite smart enough to understand what you’re asking of it yet.

CVT. I expect it to be slow, but at the very least it can be playful with the throttle like a Honda.

You have one, right?
Boring isn’t a bad thing at all, but there are more spirited cars in this segment.

Yeah, I do.
While it’s not super sporty it’s ok for bombing around at lower speeds.

Why isn’t it a Fiesta, Mazda2, or Leaf?
Versas aren't bad.
