Playing agar.io, some guy named imgur fucked up real bad. He was teamed up with another imgur and they were both trying to knock me out from my left. I was currently #2, him #1.
While being fed by his buddy, some asshole from the bottom right fed into a virus and launched one into me. I had so much mass that I split into my maximum allowed cells per player — now I was sure I’d die. #1 looked like he was sufficiently fed enough by his smaller imgur buddy to split into me and kill me. He did split, but I got lucky...my largest split cell was as big as he was, plus my other tinier cells survived while being away from the mothership (except for 3, which made me lose 1% of my mass).
The game was on now, a fight to the death. With one of our split cells overlapping, I knew it would be me to regroup first since I forcefully split. I took a risk after regrouping at a mass of 2500 and tried splitting to gobble up half of him since he had not regrouped yet. I was hoping the loss of mass at larger sizes would help a little, but it was a failed attempt. It’d be his time to regroup soon, so I made a run for it. If he was as foolish as I was, he would split once he regrouped. I was confident I’d be alive to see another day. I decided to let one piece of myself stay almost slightly close enough to be gobbled up, but far enough to stay alive so to look like he could get me if he split. I lured him into it perfectly, so that once I could regroup, I could try to trap him under either one of my two cells to gobble him up.
I did successfully lure him to split. However, things did not go as planned. We both knew my time to regroup was next so he made a run for it to the right. Little did he know the petri dish’s wall was to the right, however I did, which confidently made me aware of my upper hand. Although I knew of this, I was not sure how successful I would be at getting him again. Fortunately, things worked out on my end, with some viruses getting in the way for how large we were. I had his back against the wall and I had regrouped by the time he could no longer find another way out.
Ate that motherfucker and then celebrated by promptly killing myself via splitting and ejecting mass in all sorts of directions. It’s easier to play this game at night, when less people are online. Less mass for teams to round up.

If you’ve made up your mind about how to find yourselves ... just started this and am curious as to how addicted I’ll be.

Well, the thing is if you are going to play as friends you have to go into party mode and send a link to the same server to everybody!

From wikipedia: “Players control a cell in a map representing a petri dish ; the goal is to gain as much mass as possible by swallowing smaller cells without being swallowed by bigger ones. [4] The name Agar.io comes from the substance agar , used to culture bacteria.”
Space for splitting and W for ejecting mass.
It’s free!
You’ll need to eat food to gain mass, avoid being eaten by all cells notably larger than you, while eating cells smaller than you. Risk and reward!

Playing during the day is such a disaster. So many people. It makes it hard to start from zero and survive long enough to enjoy it. Plus, I agree those a-holes that team up to feed each other and run the board are such a nuisance. It’s Free-For-All for a reason.

Yeah, it's easier to play at night because all the noobs have to be in bed for school the next morning.
