Actual production model, not some concept car. Oppo, tell me what you think of this car.
I’m glad Renault still remembers how to build a large wagon without turning it into some kind of CUV compromise.
Here it is as a sedan:

that wagon is purdy

I’m not loving the schnozz, but the proportions and lines are amazing.
So much classier than the sedan. I always hate wagons as afterthoughts.

Well, it’s not a bad idea to replace the Laguna. A name that has been related to too many quality-issues in the past, and with a rather weird design on the latest model. This looks good though, so maybe they’ll sell some here as well.
Renault’s new lineup looks really good, with the Captur, Kadjar and the Talisman. Wonder if we’ll see the Talisman in Nissan disguise later?

I love the hips. Also how the roof of the wagon doesn’t squeeze down to nothing in the booty so you can actually use it as a wagon. I want to see the hatch open so I can see if it really does go down all the way to the bumper. I really like the name maybe because its unique and it reminds me of skyrim or fable or some crap.

Thats a good looking thing they’ve made there, too bad its looking like its not made good.

Does this help?

I want it. Good proportions, and I like the style. And it has a properly long roofline and wide rear hatch opening, unlike some other modern “wagons”.

What do I think? Make it a manual and show me where to sign.

I used to be a speculator like you, but then I took a Pierce Arrow to the knee.

Get rid of these and it is perfect.

Eh, I like the look of it, but with a few exceptions - a couple of Twingo generations, mainly - I tend not to be overly keen on Renaults that don’t come with ‘RS’ badges.

That’s the downside. They decided to not offer the manual on any of the gasoline powered engines. The smaller two diesel options will get a manual though.

I’m okay with that.

A vehicle that should be imported to the US as a Mitsubishi or Nissan, would fit nicely in their lineups, just hide its Renault side otherwise it will never sell.

That ass...

The first new Renault I’d seriously buy if I were in the market. Besides the Twingo

Dumb question, FWD or RWD?
![]() 08/26/2015 at 15:34 |

Mmmmm yes it's from Europe it must come in diesel brown manual
![]() 08/26/2015 at 15:34 |

Phenomenal! The proportions are awesome and the shape is muscular, but not huge.
![]() 08/26/2015 at 15:36 |

Yes. Three different diesel options available, the weakest two with a manual. Not 100% sure about the brown, but it’s probably available.

YES

FWD. This competes with the likes of the Ford Mondeo (Fusion), VW Passat and similar.
![]() 08/26/2015 at 17:26 |

There’s a bit of Passat going on at the front and a bit of Qashqai about the side.
Doesn’t matter though as they won’t be sold in rhd, Renault having given up trying to sell anything bigger than a Mégane in the “drive on the left” world.
![]() 08/26/2015 at 17:28 |
|
Don’t worry, you’re not getting it! No rhd, because the Laguna was a sales flop.
