If you want a car that is the most bang for your buck, buy a Korean car.

If you want a car that to match your Foakleys, buy a Chinese car.

If you want to support children striving for higher education, buy an Italian car. Your mechanic will thank you.

If you want a wordly and stylish car, buy a British car and hope that the sun doesn’t set on your empire, as the electrical system probably won’t support the headlights.

If you want a car that will drive better for longer than any other car, buy a German car.

If you want a car that will run well longer than any other car, buy a Japanese car.

If you want a car that will run and drive like shit longer than any other car will run or drive at all, buy an American car.

If you want a jolly rancher, go fuck a farmer.

If you want a car that doesn’t work but looks good, buy a French car.

I agree with this. I’ve had three Japanese cars, two of which boasting over 200k miles. The one I’m driving now is just shy of 260,000. It still runs well. The American car one is also quite true.

I can’t say I don’t agree with you. I still see these on the road all the time. These are the most “american” american cars I can think of. Total shit but for some reason they still run.

Kinja'd!!!

Must be why 9 of the 13 cars I’ve owned were american.

I remember Reading somewhere that american cars in the 80’s and 90’s were so bad people would actually ditch new models for stuff built in the 60’s and 70’s, as the newer models would last for two years, while the old ones would go another twenty and cost a tenth of the price. No idea if that’s true or not, though...
