Every so often, I feel obligated to show Oppo one of the obscure automotive youtube channels I subscribe to. For those of us who do not watch TV, youtube is by far and away the best source of automotive entertainment out there. Shannon’s Insurance is an obscure Aussie enthusiast auto insurance company, and they put out 1 hour of content per week, usually uploaded in two episodes. Nearly everything they do is interview-based. Simply a half hour of car guys talking about their favorite machines:
This episode (uploaded today) is all about MOPAR, but the most interesting episodes are jam-packed with strange Australian Holdens and Fords I’ve never heard of before. And that makes Shannon’s Insurance one of my favorite youtube subscriptions. Also, Australian accents are great. They do interviews with car collectors too:
They interview at small Australian car shows too. These are my favorite, as they are a window into Australian car culture. Collections are cool, but it’s nice to see what the average enthusiast is up to:
