If there is any one former us brand I would love to see brought back, Its Pierce Arrow. Though duesenberg would be cool too i think it would be sweet to bring back Pierce arrow as a top shelf american luxury car to compete with Rolls Royce, Bentley and The top dog Mercs.

I’m feeling like I need something a little lighter in this heat. More of a Franklin kind of day.

That would be interesting I never thought about anyone bringing them back. They aren’t significant enough that I feel like the heritage would be ruined if they were brought back. That would be my biggest fear with Duesenberg.

I always loved their hoods. Reminds me of a more French approach to automotive design.

Agree. That’s a fear I have with Duesenberg as well. But with pierce arrow I feel like there not much to risk but would be awesome as a top brand again based in the usa.

My roommate’s grandfather has a Pierce Arrow in partially restored condition. He was doing the work himself, but age and failing health got in the way. The car’s future may be a bit shaky, as my roommate’s parents (and their siblings) don’t seem to want to have much to do with all the “junk” on his farm, which is very sad. Lots of cool stuff there.

“junk” Good lord a Pierce Arrow is not junk. Talk some sense into your roommate and make him restore the Pierce Arrow and you help him. That would be so cool.

My roommate wants to, he knows what it's worth and what it means to his grandfather, it's my roommates parents that are the problem.

There’s a Pierce Arrow Museum here in Buffalo, NY. They have a Frank Lloyd Wright Filling Station inside the building too.

That's disappointing. If it works out let Oppo know I'd love to follow that restoration

Well considering that is where Pierce Arrow was made I am not surprised. Is it in the original factory?
