“WHY!?!”
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:07 |

That must be unimaginably terrible to drive.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:11 |

That’s a little too low for my taste.

first I’m seeing monkey bar spoiler....I guess I missed this as a thing. Also, electrical tape louvers.

have you not met the one ON oppo?
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:14 |

That scaffolding in the back doesn’t even make any sense.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:19 |
|
Tell us about the rust bucket van behind it... it’s also has rims.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:22 |
|
Dat ZL1 Camaro tho...
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:26 |
|
It was just an old VW in the same group but it had clearly been driven for 40 years, haha.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:27 |
|
That’s part of the reason why I was going “WHY” other than the ridiculous stance.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:29 |
|
Yeah, but seeing one is crazy in person. It looks lower in person and was scraping, not to mention the fake wing scaffold thing.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:30 |
|
That was just a V6.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:31 |
|
Keep in mind this was in Georgia and not a Beetle hub like California.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:32 |
|
Exactly! What the hell!

The scaffolding looks like it could be a luggage rack. I’d be ok with a luggage rack like that. Not so much the rims.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:44 |
|
lol I think its a tire rack, since that thing wont make it more than 60 miles on a set lol

Coty’s is low but is nowhere near stanced like that abomination
![]() 08/23/2015 at 19:58 |

Coty be like
![]() 08/23/2015 at 20:05 |

Camber only at the rear is the best part for me.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 20:18 |

looks killer. dropping vw aint nothing new. this one looks proper
![]() 08/23/2015 at 20:25 |
|
What difference does it make?
![]() 08/23/2015 at 20:41 |
|
I don’t mind people modifying a car for looks, what I don’t get is why they think camber looks good. Slam the fuck out of it, but it looks sooo much better if you do the work to make it so it doesn’t look broken. No matter how much money you put into stance it looks half assed and lazy.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 20:54 |
|
They were isolated from other large Beetle communities... So they probably didn’t have too much help with the build.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 20:56 |
|
Yeah... And this thing was literally on the ground and they had a kid in the back. I bet the kid has bruises after every ride..
![]() 08/23/2015 at 20:59 |
|
I’d slam a car but not a classic like the Beetle.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 21:11 |
|
No.
![]() 08/23/2015 at 23:35 |
|
WHY!?!
Do you really have to ask? Because racecar

looks good to me.
![]() 09/22/2015 at 22:01 |

I know I’m like a month late on this one, but Beetles stance themselves. The rear is adjustable from the factory, and swing axles on the earlier models mean the camber just kinda happens on its own. Throw on an adjustable front beam, and boom, slammed. It’s pretty much the easiest thing in the world.
![]() 09/22/2015 at 22:01 |
|
Well they did make 16 million of the things.
![]() 09/22/2015 at 22:03 |
|
Yeah, of course. The point is why someone would do it! Haha.
![]() 09/22/2015 at 22:57 |

True.
