With changes to the start procecure initiating this race, we are seeing more control being taken away from engineers and put back in the hands of the driver. The new clutch rules are the first step toward some major rule changes coming in the next 2 seasons.

Personally, I like it.

Yeah, but you can hardly call it a manually controlled clutch. They use a two stage actuation method which was controlled by engineers before. Jeez, at the rate they have been going autonomous driven cars were likely next.

I don’t see an issue here. These guys do it fine, and they have 3 pedals, way more torque, way less grip and way more weight. The start is down to how well you can launch it, not how well you can get your paddles set up.
