Some don’t. Some weirdos wax 50 year old cars and cover themselves in white wax residue.
I clayed it a few weeks ago and ran out of time to get wax on it. The poor original paint is just consuming the wax. I’ll have to do this again soon.

I like red too. But I will never own another black car for that reason. I took all the bumpers and trim off my old E28 M5 and did a full show polish on it. Never again.

That’s how I’m going to feel about the 928 I assume. I can’t wait to get to see her in person someday. If I can ever get you to the car show early enough, or If I pop by the shop sometime you’re driving her.

I’m actually going to try to get there tomorrow with my 3 year old, but I never know how the night and morning will go so no guarantee on that. You’re welcome to stop by the shop any time, I’m pretty much always standing at the desk.

Yep, and I don’t even wrench any more. One of my guys on the floor has a little experience with them, but nothing really in depth. I started wrenching in high school in the mid 90’s when there were more of them around. The guy who mentored me hated them though, haha! The other guys usually aren’t too into most cars that you can’t plug into easily.

Oh, How come no more wrenching? I don’t understand that min set. There is so much less going on in cars that are OBD1 and older. I mean if it isn’t fuel, spark, or air, there isn’t much else.

So obviously I missed donuts... hard night with baby and 3yo slept in. I got pulled into the office as manager after back surgery 3 years ago. Now that i’m fully recovered i want out of it. At least i still wrench on race cars, love that.

Yes I noticed. You missed a sweet Alfa 2000. Oh ok, yeah one of the guys here in parts had back surgery a while ago too after he broke it. What kind of race cars do you wrench on? Yours? I thinks that’s why I want the 928, I miss wrenching.
