On Tuesday, the twenty-fifth of August, two thousand fifteen, it will have been eight and a half years (to the day!) since I got my braces on. It will also have been the fifth day since I got them off. Rejoice! Unfortunately, I have to wear retainers full-time for four months...

Also, to make things car-related, Google “dingo r34” without SafeSearch on. For once, the internet failed to disgust me.

Moving to TX, then trying to move back, that fell through, then we had to go back, went to the same Ortho we had in TX, then we switched (didn't like the one we had...), then we finally managed to get things done.

I’ve entered the last few painful (mentally) months before they come off, where there is barely any noticeable progress at all. It’s been 5 years for me.

I had mine on for about 1 and 3/4 years.
