Yes that really happened! On the way to a local miata meet, a guy pulled up to me in a corolla and asked me out for some drinks. He said he liked my car and that I was cute. I politely said no and then I broke out in laughter as I drove away because of the situation. I’m in a Miata, and a gay guy is asking me on a date. I love my car lol. Anyways, got to the meet and took some pictures.

But wait, what is that on the end there? We have a special guest who came along for a bit!

It’s great! Someone brought their launch edition ND. The car is just awesome in person. Pictures truly do not do it justice.

That silly screen actually doesn’t look that bad in person. I actually kinda like it and it definitely fits in with the car. Still would rather not have the screen but it’s not as bad as I thought. The interior actually reminded me of the SLK250 interior that I drove.

Anyways, the ND is pretty sweet. Glad I ended up going!

I sure hope that pictures don’t do the ND justice. Because I want to like the ND, but it’s just so damn ugly.

As for the dumb screen, I still don’t like it. And I can imagine car thieves will break in and try to steal it before realizing it's attached. And what's up with the hand brake there? Seems like it's already pretty far up. Someone needs that thing adjusted for being a brand new car.

I mean looks are obviously subjective, but I think the exterior of the car looks pretty good. It seems like a more mature Miata really. Makes any NC look like the odd middle child. I was just really unhappy with the NC in stock form so this is just a ton better.

I mean, I don’t like the way NC look in general. There are very few I actually like. I definitely think a well modded one can be a way better car than NA/NB but it will always be hard for me to look at it. The ND has definitely changed my mind about "new" miatas though, I really do like it.
