Tomorrow the wife and I leave on a nice 2 week vacation. Will be leaving Detroit and heading to Chicago to pick up Rt. 66. From there its Rt. 66 all the way to Santa Monica, up to Sonoma for a few days, over to Yellowstone for 4 days and back to Detroit. Will be taking my Magnum SRT and of course my camera. Expect a post when I get back, after I’ve had time to go over the pictures. That is all Oppo, I’ll be MIA for a bit. ;-)

Those tires have pretty good traction. Even holds on when the world is upside down.

I’ve had that a billion times. It seems kinja published version shows it how a camera took it, and not the auto rotated version that an image viewer has.
I usually resolve this by opening it in paint and saving a new file in a different format, PNG instead of JPG for example.

No matter what you do, you have to stop here for food. It’s near the start of Route 66, and they have AMAZING food. Get yourself some 66 Route Beer while you’re there!

When you enter California, make sure to go up Pinehurst road (Oakland hills, one of the best windy cornering roads ever), and Find out where the awesome windy roads are.

They’ve been on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. I can’t find the video segment of it, but Chicago’s Best also featured them. Their segment does the joint justice.

I don’t even want to know what the gas bill would look like on that trip but it’s awesome none the less. Have fun and don’t forget your pizza leaving chicago. Ain’t nothing better in the country

Yea we will see what kind of mpg I get! I can usually get around 21 on longer trips. Not bad for a 6.1l!
