Welcome to the Craigslist Motorcycle Game, where I post select local craigslist motorcycle links and debate the prices in an attempt to educate people bored enough to be reading this on Oppo. Each analysis is based on the owner being somewhat honest about the condition of the bike.

First, we have a nearly 30 year old BMW for $5,000 American dollars. The mileage is omitted, and it is claimed to be a limited production model - as if all models of all vehicles aren’t technically limited production. A true BMW fan would point out that the vastly superior K1 can still be had in that price range if one is patient.

“250 Enduro dirt bike”, also known as “Chinese Knockoff with Chinese Knockoff problems.” The internet has a devoted following of people who sing nothing but praise for Chinese knockoff motorcycles and scooters. Unfortunately, they number the same as people who sell Chinese knockoff motorcycles.

Look at that. For just $3,500 more, you can get a BMW that is 25 years newer, with 25 years of evolution built into it. Some poor fool spent ~$12k OTD on this bike, rode it around a bit, then realized motorcycles weren’t for him. One man’s trash is another man’s come up.

Wow. Here you have a naked liter bike with *NEARLY NO MILES* on it for $3,500. The aftermarket exhaust isn’t reassuring, but what you have here is either a bike that was bought to be stunted and tracked, or a massively depreciated garage queen bought to stroke a previous owner’s ego.
And now I have to go because women have a sixth sense for Jason having fun on the internet. :/
