I’d buy all of these over a full-size luxury car.

I’d much rather have greater ride height and AWD in Northern Albertan winters than an S-Class. And the luxury in all of these are getting pretty damn close, especially the RR.

The new Escalade is excellent to ride in. Much more comfortable than an S Class.

But, if they made this as a wagon?

That would be excellent, especially an Allroad version.

I agree. I kind of have to accept that the Land Barges and full-size luxury cars of old are either too damn expensive, or won’t be coming back. I mean I was in a GMC Terrain one time, and it was pretty damn comfy, so I can’t imagine what the comfort must be like. Even if I have my aversion to sitting up high, I would in fact take a luxury SUV over what else is available.

Unless it was an Escalade, fuck the Escalade.

I’d much rather have this, especially since it will outlast all of those, and be worth the most in 5 years time if I were to sell it. But if I decided to keep it, it wouldn’t bankrupt me on maintenance and repairs.

It’s very nice, and arguably better looking than an S Class - but it still kinda does that luxury truck floaty/bouncy thing and the steering is slow. I think I would buy a loaded up GMC pickup instead and save ten grand.

Range Rover, yes.

Full-size gm: hell no.
