Got a email from the local BMW dealer today, and saw this:
I was eager to find more about this BS new model. Sadly, it did not hyperlink, so nothing about features. Any Oppos know about this thing?
Seems to me that it adds black kidney grilles, and will probably have a sunroof and leather.

“Nicely equipped” doesn’t sound that special.

... and even for $40k, BMW still gives you halogens...

Translation:
“We’re making a slightly different F30 to clear out the last of the model year before the LCI kicks in next model year.”

That's what I thought too!!

I can speak from personal experience... That the HALOGENS SUCK!

Like the Passat “Limited Edition”.
Nice equipment... But it ain't limited.

BMW shouldn’t sell halogens. I was let down that the LCI still has them on the base 3. You can’t even buy a new Corolla with halogens anymore.

$40k and you don't even get the halo lights, let alone HID headlights.

I’m guessing some paint, badges, sunroof. Kinda like GM does with their “special editions"

Why didn't you get HIDs for your 3er?

Why not?

Halogens suck, but they work. LEDs cost around $800.
The LCI requires premium package for them.

I hate the way the lights connect with the grille...
