I recently upgraded to Blast 105 ($49, and hey, I’m starting to notice a number of heavy uses) just not too long ago and got everything set up. The problem is...

Kinja'd!!!

Is this normal for Blast 105 users or do I need to get in touch with someone from Comcast? (if it helps, I’m using an SBG6580.)

Edit: Realized this was done on WiFi, might have to check wired soon.

UPDATE : Apparently wireless was the culprit. False alarm.

Holy cow. Check your reception and WiFi channel. Could be interference from obstacles or other networks

I have never gotten anything close to Comcast’s advertised speeds. Good luck calling them, they will give you a runaround and point out that they’re “up to XX Mbps,” not a guaranteed speed. I did get them to give me a small additional discount for a few months, but otherwise it was pointless.

I had problems with my D3 Moto (Can’t remember the model)

Upgraded for a Cisco modem and it helped. Then I tossed one of my routers and went with a Belkin AC1200 for my wireless LAN and BOOM, good stable speeds.

I know you said you got it resolved, but I’ve got Blast 150 and I’m /exceeding/ the rated speeds.

What router? I had a problem with ddwrt on mine interfering with Comcast. I think it was dscp or something like that
