13s to 15s. 175 to 195. And a whole lot stickier rubber. Also new wheels with a lot of sanding, 4 coats of paint and 4 or primer. Can’t wait to mount them.

Troubleshooting the issue tomorrow. Either water pump or thermostat. I’m voting thermostat, but there are a few ways to make sure it’s one or the other. Then I’m going to a friends house to pick up the part(s) and it should be running on friday (fingers crossed).

Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to post pictures. I wanted a darker color to make the car look a little more utilitarian. Been trying to make my grandma’s car a little more masculine.

Depends on a number of things. Price being most important. The heads aren’t all that rare. So condition as well. Eventually, I’d like to get new pistons and go from 9 to 9.5:1 compression. The 121 head allows larger valves which pare nicely with a 292 cam. And that’s all one expensive investment. For now, I’ll be cheap and save for dual Webers. And, ya know, get the car running again. That’s also important.

Diagnosing it tomorrow. Either water pump or thermostat. Thinking it’s the thermostat not opening after the temp goes up. Hope I didn’t warp the head. I was 3 miles from home when the temp shot up. I have a spare water pump, but I really hope it’s the thermostat because that’s a 30 min job, max. Luckily I’m in a great car community and a friend will let me take parts off his old M10 for some beer.
