If I were looking at a sports car in this price range and was able to get an allocation, I’d definitely get a Boxster Spyder. However, that manual roof, however good it looks and weight it saves, is a bit of buzzkill. Not enough to ruin a fantastic car though.

I’m totally cool with the manual roof, and to be honest, I kind of prefer it to a fully electric one in a weird way.
It all sort of plays to the “rawness” of the Cayman GT4 (which I also really like) but the Boxster is tuned to be less “race track” (like the GT4) and more “twisty road.”
