I’m seriously thinking I should go look at this tomorrow.

What is going on with the transmission lever? It looks like there is a manual shifter and an auto shifter...

They still used a manual 4WD selector in these models.

Provided there isn’t a frame rot problem, extremely nice price. I wish 3rd gen prices were like this when I got my 2nd gen.

Yeah, the frame needs to be solid. I’m also curious about the transfer cases and I think the front crossover pipe for the cooling system.
But, it looks spotless. So either they got it really clean, or it’s a very well kept.

If everything checks out, you are stealing it. I will warn you though, the seating position takes getting used to.

Sitting so high in the car? I work at a Lexus dealer, I’m used to such nonsense.
Are you saying the seats not comfortable?

Well I have the second gen, but no, I find my seats extremely comfortable. The seats are pretty much bolted to the floor though. You may be high up, but that’s because of ground clearance, not the seating position.

I much prefer to sit inside a car than on top of it. My wife might not like it that much though. She has driven one of these before and said it was alright.

After a talk with the financial department, I am going to have to pass. We need to buy new couches and other furniture for our new house we moved into in May.
